Hello! Today was a really awesome day!! Lisa made us a traditional English breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon, toast and baked beans (yes, beans for breakfast...who knew?) and then we drove to Liverpool. Once there, we walked around the Liverpool Cathedral, this enormous cathedral. It was so beautiful! It made me feel very small! We then walked to the Cavern Club on Matthew Street, the birthplace of the Beatles! We were able to visit the club, well a replica of the club and we had our picture taken on the actual stage where they played. Check out my pictures to see it! It was really cool! We then walked around a port and saw a ton of boats and even one called a Yellow Submarine which is similar to the Dells Ducks! It was a little piece of home in Liverpool!

On the way home, we stopped at Chester, a town famous for the Rows, City Walls, Roman and Civil War history. We saw the largest Roman amphitheater uncovered in Britain and the Eastgate Clock which stood outside the Roman Fortress. It was very cool.

We made it back in time to have tea (dinner) with her parents and went to a local pub to watch Spain win the Championship game! It was really neat! We came home and just finished playing cards and are getting ready for bed.

I hope everyone is well at home! Take care!

Love and Hugs, Tanya
