... `Cause apparently there`s nothing to see! We were thinking of spending the day touring Houston and our first stop was gonna be Houston Space Centre. It was just give-us-your-money type of tourist lollapalooza, with no sight of any launching pads or such. We didn`t even go in, so 50 miles driving for nothing.

Second stop, Rothko Cathedral, with paintings from this world-famous painter, Mark Rothko. OK, maybe I`m just an ignorant fool, but big room filled with huge dark-blue canvases, is not my thing.

From there, Downtown Houston. NOTHING!! At this point, 1pm, we were like "Hell with this, let's just put the pedal to the metal and get our ass`s to Austin,TX!" and that is what we did. On our way there, we happened to spot one of those outlet –shopping centers, so some more stuff to fill in the trunk. Also this idyllic village of Fayetteville was along our way.

Not much more than that, here we are in Austin,TX. Just a side-note though, we went to buy a case-of-beer from the near-by supermarket, but we couldn`t get any, because the store policy is that they don`t take “international IDs”.WEIRD.
