It's quite amazing thing to notice how 9 hours of sleeping can make you feel like another person! Last night’s searching-for-motel-adventure was at the time so hard to digest, but I think every one of us was feeling much better this morning (notice: the ability to wake up one minute before the alarm turning on). Well, again some problems occurred with finding wireless internet don’t have any idea when will be the next time for that sort of fun.

Washington D.C. seemed quite an interesting place, actually. We were aware of the fact that there were too many attractions and too little time. Also, it was challenging to find a parking space near the places we were willing to visit. However, we managed to pop into The Natural Museum of Smithsonian (nice dinosaurs) and The Air and Space Museum of Smithsonian (nice space food). Onni and Toni betrayed guys with backpacks (read: Maija and Risto) when they ran into The National Gallery of Art to take few quick photos. Apparently it would have been a beautiful place to visit, but the parking meter was running way too fast. Efficiently we saw Capitol Hill and the White House in thirty minutes. Then it was time to leave the capital.

In the heat of the burning American sun we started our journey with the great Appalachian Mountains in our minds. The lunch/dinner was enjoyed at the marvellous restaurant called Ihop. After that fun (read: a salad with one bottle of dressing) we began the motel hunting again. We were more than lucky this time; the motel was found after...shorter time than yesterday. This time we had time to get some ridiculously cheap refreshments from Wall Mart and properly settle down at the Hillside Motel in Knoxville, Maryland, with beautiful view and relaxed atmosphere.
