After a good night of gambling in Atlantic City it was time to hit the road again. The weather was a bit sunnier than on the first day on wheels. We had a clear plan what do and where to go...just enter the destinations to GPS and visit some inviting places along the route. It was Risto's turn to take the wheel for the first time. The planned final destination for the day was Annapolis which is close to Washington D.C. where we were planning to complete the museum part of our trip on next day. We were happy to arrive naval Annapolis early. This was the point where all the problems began! Annapolis is a beautiful seaside city where the white-dressed navy sailors are trained...this city was nothing but NAVY and rich yacht-clubbers. The fact that all the accommodation was for upper class people we had to change our overnight destination to somewhere in Washington D.C. which apparently is not the motel paradise. We looked and looked for a motel around and in the city with no luck. The evening was turning into night, and we were still searching accommodation. After cruising 12 hours and some enquiries we ended up to some motel which had a vacancy for us and we were relieved. Straight to bed!
