We arrived to the full hookup RV Park outside the city of Winnepeg with high hopes of better weather and so far have not been disappointed.....
We visited the "Forks" area which is the downtown area where the Red River and Assiniboine Rivers meet and is a real kinda artsy fartsy place but alot of fun....you can drink beer anywhere I guess ! We saw alot of street performers etc.

Anyway we saw a bicycle built for 2 rental place and Gilles and I could not resist-  we went back the next day and rented one - I highly recommend it. 
The folks who own the business were very nice and gave us a souviner pic which I will scan and attach to the blog later.  They are from Minnisota and even gave us a coupon for a great steakhouse to eat at that nite - the Round Table- food was great and a good time was had by all.
We also visited the Manitoba museum and planetarium - fun stuff - did you know that Pluto is not a planet anymore?!?
