Sorry that this is a quick entry - not much time! Bratislava was a lively city, and faring much better than I expected for an Eastern European city.  It had some really nice buildings.

Budapest was gorgeous, and interesting.  The Budapest markets were fun - it was a Saturday so it was great to see all the local produce out on display.  Upstairs they had souvenir type things.  At the Opera House we had a short recital whilst standing on a grand staircase sipping champagne, ahh, that is the life!

Well, that was the end of the cruise - I caught the plane to Helsinki to go to St Petersburg with my friend Ben.  Three different currencies (Hungary, Finland, Russia) in three days fried my brain!  My main tip for cruising is to be very careful where you hang your washing - two of my tops are my parting gift to the Danube river, hehe!
