Day three in Taiwan! Thanks to everyone for their moral, material and physical support. I'm finally here!

This will be a short entry, but I simply have to thank Nannien (my grandmother to those who don't know) for her generous donation to this trip. She offered to purchase this laptop just a few days before my departure. It has come in handy more than I could have predicted. Thank You!!

I'm in Taichung now. I arrived yesterday afternoon. The school is putting me up at a local hotel until I can find an apartment close by. I'll be training for the next week or so, and afterwards I should have my first adult class.

Jet-lag has passed but culture-shock is beginning to set in. More on that later...
