What I did
Flew paper airplanes and climbed Tianping Shan
A couple weeks ago I took the train back to Suzhou and visited a few friends. I also went back to Mudu for the first time since I worked there. It was interesting being back because a lot has changed! The Canadian School that was located there has moved across town. The Chinese school is still there, but because Chinese students aren't allowed to leave campus at lunch, all the little restaurants that we frequented there have now closed down. Kind of sad really! We also climbed up Tianping Shan to get a very smoggy view of Mudu and you could see evidence of the nearly finished Subway system from there. Simon and I also enjoyed a tasty bubble tea from my favorite bubble tea place, and did the usually paper airplane contest from his highly perched balcony. Fun times!
