Thailand - who knew it would remind me of Venice with all the canals...what a mix of architecture, styles times etc...modern buildings and then old Temples...so much gold leaf here...We were at The Grand Palace today ( in the 90 plus degrees ) and then on to the Reclining Buddha and Jim Thompson house...The local flower and Vegetable market was wonderful...tonight we took a boat/tender across the river and to the Oriental Hotel...Mary leaves tomorrow night and I get picked up at some ungodly hour on saturday...The peninsula Hotel is gorgeous, so not so bad...Loves

So, how many placemats,ties,etc did you bring home? I remeber buying a lot there many years ago! Travel home safely...and call me...xo, J
