We are here !!!!! Mary and I met up at the hotel sunday night. Both of us had very good flights, connections and our luggage is here with us as well. I was able to use 3 hours of layover in Hong Kong and tour part of HK and Kowloon - I took the fast train ( by myself !! ) and then met up with my guide. VERY foggy - so we did not ride on the cable car but I did see the skyline, the harbor and took the Star Ferry to Kowloon ...all very interesting and very crowde ! Our Hotel here in Saigon is new and beautiful....our guide adorable, 28 years old - fun to be with and gives us all kinds of information. The traffic - OH MY - all the motor scooters - like nothing I have ever seen before ! Crossing the streets , is SO nerve wrecking !!!!!! We are having fun - still not caught up on our sleep - we are 12 hours different from you...tomorrow off to The Mekong Delta - today we went to The War Museum ( very hard to take ), the Post Office, Presidential Palace.....so many speak english and try to be helpful !
