Spent 9 hours yesterday walking round the cobbles of Bukhara, which is amazing - better than Samarkand.
[Lots of PICS] Today have been rushing around all morning trying to get the springs welded for the truck and rotating the tires with the spares on the back (Am helping out as one of the drivers is currently ill). Exhausted I just found an empty teahouse and sat sipping saffron tea and munching on Uzbek sweets whilst writing my postcards, so feeling much better. Went souvenir shopping that evening and was quite enjoying it, until I declined to buy anything from one lady who then thought it appropriate to shout after me down the street: "You're a woman, not a man!".
