What up!!!!!!
After a very stormy 35 hours we finally got in to Cascais,Portugal. A lot of thing broke on the yacht and we now have decided not to trust the damn weather reports anymore.
It said calm weather and no swell or seas. Wow did they get it wrong this time!!!!!
5-6 (15-20 feet) meters sea and 40-45 knots of wind. DidnŽt get much sleep during this trip, but here we are.
Cascais is a great town and I would advise everyone to go here if ever in Portugal. Great seafood restaurants and the smell of barbecued food lies thick from sunset throughout the night together with smiling faces everywhere
We were supposed to head towards Gibraltar this morning, but they closed down the marina because of this storm. So I guess tomorrow weŽll try to leave again.
Take care everyone until next time. IŽm going to visit the monkeys in Gibraltar next.
Cheers,
Tim

Can't beat the scenery around here
. No wonder my friend Isabel, who grew up here, told me to come if I had a chance. She was definatley right. We were supposed to head towards Gibraltar this morning, but they closed down the marina because of this storm. So I guess tomorrow weŽll try to leave again.

Monkey
Hey Tim,
Watch out for the monkies...last time I was in Gibraltar one jumped right on my head and tried to eat my hat. Lot of fun there, funny people and Spain is really close...hehehe
Have fun and be safe!!
Jules
PS - Roar says HI!!!
SO JEALOUS!!
OMG! I can't tell you how each of these emails I get from you makes me want to give notice and go travel all around some amazing island. (Note: I'm not ready to be a world traveler just yet... baby steps! :) )
Sounds like you are having a fabulous time. Love hearing your site goodies! And now I'm hungry for barbeque! :)
Take care Tim!
PS - aren't you sad you're missing the Holiday Catering season??? C'mon!! HA!
PPS - Adrienne had to relive her 'Reno's Finest' this year, and donned an 80's Aerobics Queen outfit for the Halloween festivities. So funny!!
