WOW! JAPAN! WOW! And btw, did I say WOW!? I don't think the amazement of "WOW, I'm in Japan!" ever wore off. 6 weeks of traveling thru the Land of the Rising Sun going places (Tokyo --> Yokohama --> Osaka --> Nara --> Mt. Koya --> Osaka --> Hiroshima --> Fukuoka), meeting people (too numerous to list here), and doing things (again, too numerous)! Oh yeah, and taking LOTS of fotos!

OK, I'll try to make this email short and sweet:) I'll post a more thorough recounting on my TravelPod blog site when I get a chance to digest everything. In the meantime, here's a link to my site where you can see the blogs and fotos I've already posted (http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog-entries/swami_worldtrav/4/1252604580/tpod.html). I love to tell stories and take fotos. Thanks to those who have checked them out and commented.

Well, that's it for now. See the accompanying photo gallery for a short photo essay of my trip...

...well, I hope you enjoyed that little encapsulated trip:) As you can see, for me it's much more about the people and not so much the sights. Yeah, I went into a castle (one), and a temple (one), and passed a lot of shrines, but the joy for me is the people, the culture, the food, and the language.

Sometimes I ask myself how I got so lucky in life, and other times I just accept it and share my good fortune when, where, and while I can. I wish the best for all my family and friends and look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon!:)…

Glad you had such a great time. I'm looking through the photos as we speak.

Re: Awesome!
Tnx. Why, it looks like you've been to a few countries, too:)

Now, for something totally different check out this PHOTOSYNTH I'm working on. It's not the final, but wanted to reply while this thread was fresh:)

If you're unfamiliar with photosynth, its a navigable 3D representation from 2D images. It's best just to see it to understand it. So, go see it!:)...
