I found a place to stay when I first got into Antigua. I was so tired that I took the first place Rough Guide recommended.

They only had dorm style available. ok, that is fine. I settle in and realize that it is a coed room. And i'm rooming with two other guys. Dana was nice enough to let me crash at her hotel with her last night (my first night) since she had two twin beds. I went back to my place this morning to try and work out the housing situation, but there was nothing else available. But as luck would have it, i ran into somebody who just flew into Guatemala this morning and wanted a roommate. She is really nice and a professor of antrhopolgy at Howard University in DC. So we are going to be roommates until I leave Sunday morning for Xela.

After a tastsy lunch of tostads, I spent the afternoon walking around Antigua and going to the remains of an old church that collapsed during the last few earthquakes. Spectacular...

Side note- I though the air in LA was bad...ugh, i feel like i am sucking on the back of an exhaust pipe down here.
