In true Sooz and Dave style, we were late for our own departure, having delayed our flights by two days, to give some breathing space before one of us ended up in either a hospital or asylum, we finally arrived at London Heathrow, rucksacks on our backs, gratefully assisted by Ma and Pa Oswick in our final farewell to England.

We nearly missed our flight, due to our usual faffing, tearful goodbyes but mainly because security checks were massive. We gave ourselves the first taste of what it would be like to leg it to our departure gate, finally making onto the plane and taxing onto the runway, only to be told that there were concerns about a 'knocking' in the hold and having to return to our original spot for security checks. We eventually were airborne two hours later, just for once our lateness was nothing to do with us!!!
