There's bears in them there woods.

Yes people we have sighted the old black bear and a grizzly too. The first sighting was just as we drove along the highway, i noticed in the distance that a lot of cars were at the side of the road and as we got nearer could see a bear on the train tracks about 500m. What luck, a few long distance shots which just look like blobs and we were off to leave him/her in piece.

The second sighting was at a bear reserve so can't really mark that one down too much. I saw a third one in the hills near where we were staying but kt nor cherry spotted that one.

We have also been fortunate enough to see Elk and deer grazing too, but no Moose sightings yet. I think a Moose hunt is in order!

Take a look at the pictures, the mountains and lakes are undescribable and with my limited writing skills I wont even attempt to sum them up just see for yourself.

Our time is nearly at an end in Canada and I will be sad to leave, it is only the fact that we have another ten months ahead of us that cheers me up. Hope you are all well and are enjoying the reports. The next one will be in about three weeks time after we have finished our trek in the U.S which includes locations such as Mount Rainer and Yellow Stone park etc.
