I take back every mean thing I said about the weather in Ireland. The last four days have been beautiful. The last day in Galway Kristy and Zoe took off to Tara and I decide to stay in the city. It was sunny, blue skys and around 25. I spent most of the afternoon sitting by the river reading. I ended up getting a sunburn but it was still fantastic. That night we took a train to Galway and the next day the weather was the same if not hotter. We spent the afternoon in a grassy square and I got sunburnt even more. The next day we were planning on going to a hostel in County Connemara but the bus did not leave until 5 so we did a day tour of the Burren Mountains (more like hills trying to be mountains, but still really beautiful) then we went to the Cliffs of Moher that are 200 meters high. We got back to Galway just in time to catch our bus. The hostel in Co. Connemara was beautiful, it is in the middle of nowhere, right on a bay with lush green "mountains" all around it. The only bad thing was they had little bugs about the size of a grain of sand called Midges, that bit and leave little red marks. They were everywhere, but only at night so the day was fine. On sunday we rented bikes and biked into town to get some food and explore. We foud a waterfall and spent a few hours relaxing. And got sun burned again because it remained at 25 degrees and brilliant blue skys. Monday we took the bus back to Galway and caught another one to Sligo. It is a really nice city. We just arrived last night so we have not seen much of it but I am looking forward to exploring. Tomorrow we are heading to Donegal then who knows. Still having a blast, I will talk to you all soon.
