Entry 2 of 16 | show all | print this entry

Greetings from Paris....Sorry it took me so long to up date but this is the first time we have been able to get to cheep internet over here. So here are me travels thus far....After a rather unventful flight to Montreal and a seven hour stop over (in which I read the majority of the book I started that morning)....i got on the flight to paris. I ended up sitting beside a guy who hoged the arem rest and snored....but at least he did not talk to me. Kristy and Zoe were wating for me when I got through customs..they had a sign with my name on it ...it was fantastic to see them again...I haden't seen them since November. They filled me in on all the goings on on the train from the airport/ the rest of the afternoon we just hug out and around supper time we walked from Notre Dame to the Eiffle Tower , It was a lot of fun. We passed by a Canadian pub playing the Calgary game and I wanted to stay and watch...but I hear it was a good thing I did not....The next day (Thursday) Zoe and I went to the Musee d'Orsay where there is a HUGE collection of Impressionist art (Van Gogh, Monet etc) I had a blast explaning it all to her. Yesterday We all went to the Louvre and spent the whole afternoon and evening there. We had a picnic on the lawn out front and saw so many amazing works of art. It was the first time Kris and Zoe had seent the Mona Lisa and there were very impressed....as was I, I loved seening all the works of art I have been stufying the last four years. (by the way I am still wating on 2 of my final marks so I can't tell you if I graduated yet). Today we are clebrating my birthday because Kristy and I were upset about not being able to celebrate it together...she gave me the The Diary of Anne Frank..that the actually bought at Anne Franks house in Ansterdam...it was really cool and we are going out for dinner tonight somewhere. We are heading over to Sacre Coeur church this afternoon and do some shopping at the increadably cheep stores in the area. As far as we know we are in Paris until Tuesday...then who knows if we will stay longer or head somewhere else in France...I think that's all I have to say for now exept that the weather id fabulous and I wish you all were here...I will try to write again soon.

Suz.
