The long journey... aka... the cheapest ticket.

Okay if I'd have known how ridiculously long a 48 hour plane flight really was then I might have considered paying 300 dollars more just to travel the right way around the world with fewer connections. But hey at least I have the memories. I flew from Destin and Mike flew from Houston and we met in Atlanta where we caught a connection to New York. Once we got to New York we had a 7 hour layover before we boarded a plane to Moscow. 9 hours later after landing in Moscow we had to hang out for 8 hours before we could catch out final flight to Hong Kong another 9 hour flight. But we got to drink with a Russian in the Moscow airport who kept buying us drinks which made the time go by nice and quickly. I still wish I knew what he said, but oh well it was fun none the less.
