Where I stayed
La Casa en Temixco
Taxco is a nice little town built on a mountain that caters mostly to tourists due to its local silver mines. The moment you step out of your car you are hounded by some local trying to get you to go into his silver shop. There is so much silver in the town, that it almost makes you think that it is a precious metal that anyone can afford. At any rate, the jewelry there is beautiful, as is the cathedral in the center of the city. It's definitely worth a day of your time if you are ever in the area, if not just to see all the different things made of silver
The day was pretty lazy all in all, and later in the evening we headed in to Cuernavaca to go see a movie. We ended up seeing 21, because it was the only movie that was completely in English. I mean my Spanish isn't bad, as a matter of fact it's pretty dang good, but I didn't want to have to focus that hard throughout a movie. It ended up being pretty good, and I am now ready to go hit up Vegas. I know this entry was lame, but I'm tired so check out my pics. Tomorrow is our last full day in Mexico, (Tear), and it should be nice and relaxing again. Vacation definitely beats the heck out of third year of med school, that's a fact!
