Crossing the boarder from Botswana to Zambia is definitely something to be seen!! We cleared the Botswana boarder relatively smoothly..... while long haul trucks take up to four days to go through the process. Next we headed to the river, where a small car ferry transfers you over - the only way to describe it is "organised chaos"... people pushing their way onto the ferry, while trucks who have sat there for days are getting annoyed at the likes of our overland trucks bowling up and driving straight on. We successfully got across, and then went to the Zambian immigration office for passports and visas. Funnily enough our driver forgot to get his passport stamped, so we had to return after driving 200 metres down the road.
On arrival to Livingstone, we visited Victoria Falls which are absolutely stunning, then the tour group did a booze cruise on the Zambezi River.
Unfortunately the activities for me this week are limited, as I have strained my knee and am limping around the campsite. If that isn't bad enough, I had a monkey chase me which strained my knee even more!! One activity I have done is the elephant safari - check out the photos, it was a lot of fun.
My sister Libby had now joined the tour, so it will be good to travel with her over the next three weeks.

Time of your life.......
Every time I log in (when I should be working) I get depressed at the adventures you are having. The photos are amazing and the tour sounds fab. It's great that Libby has now joined you...say Hi!
Heading to the fringe at the weekend - think we're seeing the same guys as we went to last year so should be a laugh!
Take care of yourself - and RESPECT the monkeys!
Monkey? Donkey!
Just read through your latest posts and it looks fantastic! Definitely need to do something like that some day. Shame about the knee, tube! Hope you keep on enjoying it!
PS Aileen doing well, going for 20 week scan on Friday.
