After enjoying a surprisingly (itīs airport food) tasty bison burger at Caseyīs near the gate for my Santiago departure, I hear my name come over the p.a. asking me to "meet my party outside level three security." Itīs Paul and Sue! Turns out they are in Toronto at fashion buying show for Sueīs store and itīs taking place at a conference centre adjacent to the airport. Actually Paul had called earlier that day and suggested that we might meet but both of us thought the layover was too short and they would likely be downtown anyway. I have time to join them for a couple of beers. How cool. Now back to board the plane.
