I having a bit of a rest from sightseeing for now. The past two days have been heaven. All I've done is lounge by the pool at the hotel, reading, swimming and talking with the tourists staying at the hotel. Quite a mixture really, Canadians, Italians, French, Argentinian, and a couple from Nelson.

At about 6pm I'd head off into town, to have some dinner. The other night I was at a restaurant that, like all the others, ovelooked the Caldera, and watched the sunset while eating my greek salad and swordfish steak, downing a half bottle of white wine. An absolutely delicious meal. I had organised to met an Aussie (Josh), and his American Traveling Partner (Lindsay) at one of the bars later on, so I wandered down and to my surprise they were actually there waiting for me. They were a very nice couple who are traveling around europe, for 6 months. We had a few beers, chatted alot. I kept asking Lindsay about gridiron as there was a college game being played on the Satelite. They were heading off to Athens, taking the ferry, the next morning, so they left about 11pm, I stayed a bit longer, and chatted to some other tourists that were there and before I knew it the bar was packed with girls. I've already had a few so I left, but before I did, the bartender said that they were playing the Aussie vs SA game, at 4pm the next day. Great!! something to watch before dinner.

The next day is saturday, and I did pretty much what i did yesterday. Lounge by the pool, soaking in the sun, swimming, talking to the guests there. I quite enjoyed doing that.

3:30pm rolled around and I headed into town, arrived at the bar, and I find that there are 4 other kiwi's and a South African there to watch the game too. Suffice to say, since there were no Aussies there, we sided with the South African and after a 53-8 pasting, The south African shouted his Kiwi mates some beers. We departed but, most of us said we'd meet back at the bar to a couple more beers. I had missed the sunset by this stage so I just wondered into town, got a bite, then headed back bar. It was packed with girls again, and sure enough, everyone else was there having a good time. I did too. Eventually, I had to leave. I'm off to Mykonos in the morning.

Um no pictures this time. I didn't take any.
