So, most tours from Perth to go to Margaret river (which covers the whole SW area) cost over $150.. we got to spend a little over 1 day and it was amazing!! First off- Western Australia has THE best beaches!! Beautiful blue clear water and just amazing scenery!  It's also infamous for it's wineries and has a whole road of caves you can tour.  We didn't have enough time since each one would take a few hours, but one day I might make it back to see them!  The other amazing thing is the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.  It's so hard to describe how beautiful the oceans are!!  But uniquely, this is where the Indian and the Southern Oceans meet!! It was very cool..  Anyways, after Margaret river we stopped as many places as we could, tried our first 'kebab' (mmm mmm), and sampled some Western Au wines..  There's heaps more I could go into, but I suppose I'll save those stories when I get home!
