Greetings everyone, from those of us who now drive on the wrong side of the road! Haha.. Yes, that's right.  Yesterday, I rented a car from the Sydney airport!!  So, I can now officially say I know how to drive on the wrong (or as they all say here), the right side of the road.  Let's just say that even fearless Jen was so intimidated by such an undertaking.. that I sat in my Car for 20 minutes before even leaving the carpark!!   Good news is, no one has died yet and no accidents.  Bad news is, its takes me 2x as long as it should to get anywhere because I am always missing my stops..  They have roundabouts everywhere here, and avoiding one by going left is easy.. getting onto one and not killing anyone who had the right away is not!   lol..

So, I spent the day driving through Sydney Centre and across Sydney harbour bridge.. :)  I also realized, that the suburbs of Sydney are beautiful. Burger King

. and if I were to live in one, it would be in Baulkham Hills where Hillsongchurch is. :)

Ok, so other exciting news.  Well, the other night (prior to renting a car), I went to the infamous Bondi Beach.  I actually liked that beach because the water was clearer, and to the right edge of the beach- there were rock cliffs that turned out to be quite useful.. You see, after arriving at the beach on what appeared to be a sunny day in Sydney.. I began to realize that a huge group of clouds were coming from the inland.  So, within about 10 minutes, it began to pour rain.  Lucky for me, it was easy to draw shelter under the rocks.  So, along with a few other people, we sat on the rocks under the cliff waiting for the downpour to subside.  I ended up waiting a little longer than everyone else, just because it was so lovely.  The rain has created a waterfall and all the little crabs around the rocks were more than happy to keep me company. :)

And now, for the final adventure of the past few days.  A couple of days ago, I found myself on the train heading home late at night (as usual).  Well, on this particular night, I accidently fell asleep!  When I finally woke up, I was so far past my stop that I had to wait until the final stop (Cambelltown).  Now, I have since learned that Cambelltown is infamous in Australia for being made fun of, and that it is not necessarily the best part of town to be stuck in at 1am on a Fri night Cambelltown

.  Lucky for me though, I ran into a nice couple (guy was from the UK, she was an aussie) and they were a little too drunk to get their car, so they were waiting for a taxi.  Well, after about 1 hour of realizing that no more trains were coming, no buses, and all the drunk people were snatching the taxis- I began to worry.  However, after chatting with me for a few minutes, the couple took pity on the wayward traveller and offered for me to sleep the night off at their house and then they would take me back to the train station in the morning.  Now, considering it would've cost me almost $100 for a taxi ride back to my house, I took them up on the offer.  And actually, I'm quite glad I did!  They turned out to live in a Beautiful suburb and I got my own big bed with satin sheets!!  Anyways, they offered to take me to dinner when I return to Sydney, and since everything turned out so well, I will probably take them up on the offer!
