You're ticket Sir and please place your fingers here so that we can obtain your bio-metric data! And welcome to the happiest place on Earth...... Yes right I thought to myself "The Peoples Democratic Republic Of Walt Disney" :-) Ignoring my paranoia about the fact that Walt Disney has now got my bio-metric data on file, Disneyland is a great place to visit. I went to the Epcot center which is a science based theme park. The exhibits and rides all though heavily sponsored e.g. Lets enjoy the magic of photography together with Kodak, Kodak I tell you, Kodak who are our sponsors for this exhibit! One of my favourite rides was "Honey I shrunk the audience" which is a good laugh, at one point they pretend to let escape mice into the audience and then blow air passed your legs which induces a lot of screams but not as many as the 3d Python.

A short journey from Orlando is to the Kennedy Space Centre. This place is every little boys dream. They take you around the shuttle launch site, show the equipment (The Crawler)that moves the shuttle with rockets. It moves at a speed of 1 mph but can position to within an inch. They also have the old Rockets (Saturn v, Appollo, etc) moon buggy and other bits of equipment. You also get an opportunity to ask question a retired Astronaut, No he has not seen Ailens, the mars landing was not faked and yes take off is the scariest moment. In case you're curious :-)One of the best exhibits is the 3d IMAX presentation of a Space Stations. It starts with you looking down a space suited pair of arms who are working their way down the outside of the Space Station. As you look down the length of the space station, you see the Earth 250,000 miles below. Suddenly you miss your grip and you slowly drift away from the station. Then your cable (that attached you to the station) snaps and you drift further.... then one of the hands reaches around and pulls out a joystick which controls your jet pack and you slowly move back to the station. This is all very realistic but was actually an astronaut in a simulator. Truly mind blowing stuff as the 3d is excellent and you fully see it all happening to you in 3d. The rest of the show is all about the assembly and living on the space station which is excellent stuff.

From there I went to South Beach in Miami, which has a very Latino feel. In fact 64% of all people in Miami have Spanish as their first language. The Architecture is Art Deco and the place is filled with cafes serving Cuban food and serving Moijtos :-) Miami is a very affluent city where the average house price is $850,000 dollars. A lot of the houses open out onto a canal or the bay where they have their boats docked.

I also went down to the Everglades which apart from having Aligators and Crocodiles has Mozzies.Yes they loved me! I don't think I have given that amount of blood since donating blood for beer in college. The Everglades is one long grassy river, which stretch to Mangrove trees near the coast. There is loads of wildlife but one of the most dangerous inhabititants in the Everglades is the "Manchille Tree" (I think that is the name of it).The tree is very toxic! If you sit under the tree when it rains, the water running off the leaves will cause blisters on your skin. If you eat its fruit, it will scald and burn your throat and will cause abdominal bleeding. Some Birds and crabs eat the fruit but they in turn become to poisonous to eat. If you burn the tree, the smoke from the wood will irritate and damage your respiratory system..... The Semonile Indians used to dip their arrows into its sap when they were attacking the Spanish.

So Folks that is it from Florida take care and take it easy.
