The next day we drove for only a few hours to Seattle, Wa. It was a great drive with beautiful scenery. The first thing we did was eat once we got there. We debated on where to eat but Ben had a suggestion and he said that last time he was there he ate at a really great italian restaurant. After a few minutes of trying to figure it out where he was talking about we finally went to it... the most amazing italian restaurant in Seattle was... Drum roll please......... OLIVE GARDEN!!! Haha! Natasha was furious with us for eating at a chain restaurant for our fist meal in Seattle. It wasn’t half bad though and Ben loved it!
That night, we visited the sky tower, went to a coffee place and then stopped at this amazing park that was on top of the city
After staying at Natasha’s for the night, we kidnapped her and drove to Montana. What a beautiful state! It happened to be a full moon so the whole night was lit up with moonlight and snow! Of course while driving through the mountains, pulling over for photos was an absolute must.
Once we got to Missoula we met up with Teal and her family (and soon to be family as Teal is getting married in July YAY!) and hung out. So you may possibly be asking yourself “what do you do in Missoula Montana at 8 p.m. during a full moon?” Well I’ll tell you what we did and would recommend trying out to anyone who asked... you go and throw rocks on to a semi frozen river of course! Now to a southern californian, my automatic reaction was probably a little like yours. “Oh... well.... that sounds like.... fun?” but go figure, it was probably one of my favorite experiences! The sounds the rocks made while hitting the frozen water was fantastic. A little hard to describe in writing but I’ll try my best. Basically, ya know when you just drop a giant rock into the deep part of a lake or some other body of water and it kinda makes a “BWOOP” noise? Well it was that but over and over and over and over again. Like “BWOOP BWOOP BWOOP BWOOP BWOOP BWOOP etc.” if that makes any since at all. So along with skipping rocks, a full moon, snow, wedding dresses, girl talks and folfing (frisbee golfing) the best way to end a great night in Montana is with a hot cup of cocoa!
So that's it for now! Thanks for keeping updated!
