Weekend dos:

"Studying" in the dorms...oops not cool according to the RA's. It was suppossed to be a sweatpants rule night, which means that we were not going to remove said comfy attire to put anything on approprite for going out. My friend Mark from Tampa however got some of us sufficiently liquored up so we decided to go to LuLus, an 18 and over bar/club in DC. Very interesting night. Lots of liquored up, guys were stupid and violent so there were fights, people getting forcefully kicked out, etc. The bouncer was huge, and kinda resembled a football linebacker. He literally threw ppl out and smashed my foot. Still hurts! Sad day!

In all this commotion my friends decided to leave, and thought that I had left earlier w/ my friend Matt. Unfortuantly for me, Matt was nowhere to be found, and I was still there. Oops. I was talking to this guy from the South Hill in Spokane. Crazy world isn't it. I went looking around for people, but of course no one was to be found. My phone, cash, everything I have minus camera and Metro card were with the roomie, so I was basically left to my own devices to get home. I walked out, met these 2 guys that said they'd help me. PS Rach has bad drunk judgement. Nothing happened of course, just got more liquored up and finally Matt came back. Yay! You have no idea how happy I was to see someone that I recognized. We left, but had no money, the Metro was closed for the night, so we had to walk all the way back to American w/ no map. As many of you know, I am "directionally challenged." After walking in several large circles we found a nice looking hotel and got directions. Basically in the 30 or so minutes we made negative progress. Crazy. We went in the general direction of Tenleytown, asking everyone we met along the way how to get to American. The general concensus was it was uber far. Amazingly though, we asked these two guys, and they gave us money for a cab. I love nice people. So finally we made it back home.

Random thought--It amazes me in situations like this that everything can go wrong, but eventually I have amazing luck. What are the odds? So thank you random Washington compadres.

12 mile walk through the heart of DC after my first DC brunch cafeteria expirience. Fairly unevenful day. Then I got info about the game, Thanks Paul. It really sucks not being able to watch 'em. Did some housekeeping and watched a movie. needed a chill day after Friday.
