These are the photos from my cruise.
So we started in Vancouver, had a full day at sea, arrived in Juneau early morning of day three.
Ali and I went on a whale watching tour, saw heaps of humpbacks, magnificent.
we also went to Mendenhall Glacier. Easily on of the most amazing things I've seen in my life. we couldn't go on the glacier, but Ranger Brendan haad some ice we could touch.
In Skagway we spent the day looking around town.
We had the best part of a day cruising through Glacier Bay, saw several different glaciers, including one massive one which we were lucky enough to see calving. sounded just like thunder, only so much louder.
In Ketchikan we went sea kyakking, around eagle islands. very cool to see bald eagles nests and also a harbour seal near our kyakk. it was raining most of the time and so cold, but we still had a brilliant time. our "waterproof" gear wasn't so waterproof though.... but we still kept the smiles on our faces.
We finished the cruise with another night and day of sailing before docking back in Vancouver. The last night was really rough, so many people were seasick.
our cabin window kept filling up with water, and we were nearly halfway up the boat!
