Okay, so here I am on my computer the night before I leave for my big Adventure.  I've sent off my last transcript - couldn't help myself and ended up taking more work yesterday than I usually do, but got it all done about 10pm last night.  I've hung my headphones up on the hook where they will stay for a month.  I have to say the reality hasn't quite sunk in yet, I guess once I get on the plane it will!  Too busy doing boring, mundane things like bank reconciliations, and housework.  The fact is, by Friday of this week the house will be dirty again anyway, so why am I bothering? 
Was hoping to go for a run in the morning, and take the dogs for a run, but that idea has been scotched as I have to do a couple of errands for Rob before I leave - ho hum, plenty of opportunity for running while I'm on holiday I guess.  Oh, and I still have to pack. 
I stepped out of the house last Thursday at 4.00pm and there was a plane flying overhead - Emirates, the plane that I will be leaving on tomorrow!! 
It has been absolutely freezing this last couple of weeks, so I'm looking forward to that predicted heatwave - yay!  It's going to be hard packing for summer when we're in the depths of winter over here.
Okay, guys.  This is it for the next coupla days.  Next time I write hopefully it will be from foreign shores.  Keep warm and safe until next time.
