Okay, so first amazing thing is that I found out Louise and Quenton (Louise runs dogs in agility) are flying out on the same plane as me.  Weird thing was they are going to Dubai like me but changing planes at Sydney, so sadly we will only be on the same flight until Sydney, but that's better than nothing.  So we have changed seats around so that we sit together.  We're picking them up in Avonhead and going to the airport together, complete with Quenton's bike.  They're off to France for a month.

I'm getting a wee  bit nervous now, but having company for at  least part of the journey will  be great.  Only one and a half weeks to go.
