It was a frantic rush to get away from blue-ginger and Home End Farm! Tried to get everthing straight and pay all artists before I left - but apologies to those I didn't . Tilly dog is on her hollidays at Half Key and Maureen, Miles, Annie and Sally looking after things at home for me. Jess drove me down to London (thank you!) and stayed overnight before off to Heathrow early next morning to begin the adventure! First flight to Miami was fine , but then it all went haywire... and American Airlines did not come out well!! After lots of hanging around and some irate passengers ( they called police back up - thought we might riot I suppose!) we were sent off to hotels in Miami for the night, and the flight left next morning. Poor Lisa was hanging around to meet me in Lima late at night.
Anyway - I AM HERE! First impressions a bit like Thailand with mad drivers and honking taxis. Beautiful balconies hanging from old buildings. We are staying in the old part of town and so far such a healthy diet of fruit juice , fruit and veg. There are loads of vege restaurants just around the corner. Didn't manage to stay awake to see in the New Year- but happy new year to you all! Of course all the shops are shut today but I hope to go and forage for some alpaca tomorrow and then Lisa and I will set off by bus.....!
I will try and take photos of lovely things I see along the way and next step is to try and load them onto the blog!

OMG!
Oh my goodness Sue Booth! How amazing to think of you there. Finally had text and found website. Have only just started reading and feel a mixture of awe, pride in your achievements and lots of jealousy. Looking forward to weekend when I can read everything properly.
