Spent last night in the Virgnian Lodge because the KOA was all booked - typical hotel from the 50's- paper thin walls, had to have clean sheets put on the bed, etc. Spent a lovely day in the town center of Jackson. Went to a fund raiser for the rotary club, bought tickets at $1.00 a piece (bought $20 worth) and then went around to different vendors (gormet chefs) and buy samplings of their food for about 3 tickets - awesome food. They had a lot of local crafters there too. Tonight we are back at the KOA on the Snake River in Jackson, WY. Tomorrow we will be on the road again to Salt Lake City, UT where we will spend 2 nights. 78 degrees and sunny -absolutely gorgeous! We love the town of Jackson, the people are so friendly and it seems very community focused.
