We landed in Pulah Pinang (Penang Island) and were picked up by our shuttle who drove us to Paradise Sandy Beach Hotel.  Nice surprise - Nice Hotel. Our room on the 23rd floor - the sea and small island as a view.

We caught a Teksi (taxi) to Batu Ferringhi where there is a night market.  We shopped a little and went for dinner at a hawkers market.  I'm getting use to the hawkers market food stalls - they are much cheaper than hotel food and much more adventurous.

We were all feeling a tired and caught a Teksi back to the hotel.  The Teksi driver was a quiet gentleman and we decided that we liked him and would ask him to drive for us the next day on our temple tour of Penang.
