First impressions - not as cheap as I was expecting and not enough honkies. Spent the first 2/3 days on my lonesome & didn't meet an Engllish speaking person for a few days apart from having bad conversations with waiters in restaurants. I did go to a good bar on the 13th floor one night (see picture), but again, all alone in the bar that when I left played me out to the tune of the Saltans of Swing. The pollution here is so bad that when you blow your nose the stuff that comes out would be categorised under "Forest Green" in the paint isle at B&Q. Need to escape this city.
