Yesterday we were in Sacramento,
and we are Finlay on our way thru Nevada
Nevada is very mystic place. cowboys and indians are everywhere
dam its hot here! sizzling hot,
i took few photos of the sunset, i hope you will like it
nazario and bella
this is Bella aka Issa.
yes, we are finally on our way!
plans are something that will change anyway, so we are just confirming the rule...
Friday, we said goodbye to our Sunnyvale apt, and... half an hour later came back to it! good we didn't get rid of the keys right away! we slept on the floor because the entire apt. was empty. the only thing we had was... internet.
we were exploring our options after we found out that our car cannot pull the heavy trailer we had, and at the end we chose to leave all the belongings in the storage, then go cross-country without a trailer... All Saturday we spent on Evelyn Avenue in Sunnyvale arranging things and reloading the boxes again! can you guess, we couldn't look at them anymore!!!
happy to get rid of the burden and start moving, we finally got on the road. this one was a short one: only two hours away, destination: Sacramento. this is where Nazar's mom lives, and we stayed there overnight.
our trip officially started on Sunday at 3 pm. route: Sacramento, California - Elko, Nevada.
right now we are abusing the Stockmen's Casino Restaurant, sitting for two hours at the breakfast table, using internet to the fullest. we look like geeks or workaholicks, each one of us sitting with a laptop and trying to get done as many things as we can before we hit the road again... I wonder if our dining is going to look like that during our entire trip: we enter the restaurant each of us with a black laptop case and instead of asking for menu we ask if they have free internet... then we look at the menu in a speed-up mode, and dive into the bits and bites of 0-1 system without talking to each other...
I'm finding that the world is really flat. we are homeless, yet still able to find a restaurant in the middle of the desert where we can connect to internet, check email, manage our banking, get in touch with family in Poland, and call Toronto in a search for an apartment...
chop, chop, ready to go!
