Gorkha was pretty easy to get to also. We left bandipur the same way we came - by truck b ut this time i had no 'girlfriends' on board. Polina and i got on the bus to Abu Karieni after a little wait and then after a lot of hastle managed to get a minibus to Gorkha.

Gorkha was a lot bigger than i anticipated. We are here to see the Gorkha Dhurba (fort on the hill). Yesterday we arived at 2 and got a reasonable place in the centre. This fairly bussy place actually only has 3 roads, we tried to find internet on day one but it dosnt have it but we covered 2 of the roads. We got a mediocre evening meal, watched 'Snatch' on tv (Polina didnt get it) and had a relitevly early night. It seems like a patern recently. With all the powercuts we are going to bed at dark (as there is nothing else to do - everything closes) and then get up earlier.

On our only full day here we got up early and walked up to the fort. The walk was lovely and there was amazing views over the mountain range. The fort itself is now a temple but it was not up to much and we was only there for 10 mins. It wasnt enough to spoil our time here in Gorkha - although again we have covered the place so we are off to Chitwan National Park tomorrow - should be great!
