We got up early today from Kosrinagar got the 1.5 hour bus back to Gorakpur, straight on a bus to the boarder town Sunauli (after i got my visa pics), accross the boarder (which is a joke!) and then got a 4km Cycle Rickshaw to Bhairawa.

We arived at 4pm so it was not a bad day at all! We got some nice accomodation in the Hotel Glasgow! and then settled in for the night.

Yesterday we visited Lumbini - Budhas Birthplace and it is much like his death place - Kosrinagar. We took an hour long bus there (22km) and enjoyed 4 hours of walking around seeing the shrines to him from various countries and the place where he was actually born underneath a tree. It felt really nice and quiet here but the tempreatures were unbelievably hot so we only stayed for a little bit.

The evening was spent eating Pizza and generally relaxing again - its amazing how much the travel takes it out of you and to make it worse we have 10 more hours tomorrow! I am going to make sure there are no crazy bus journeys for a week or so now though!

Tomorrow we are off to Pokhara - it sounds great! (everything except the journey!)
