I got on the boat at very short notice and left for Trat. The journey was fine and i got some nice accomodation for about 1 pound a night and then spent nearly my entire 2 days solidly on the internet to try and catch up on all the photos on this damn log! I'm nearly there, just need one more good session.
I also needed to get some cash to take to Cambodia as they have very few atm's but the bank in there infinate wisdom canceled my debit card. It wasnt a massive problem - just an inconveniance as they wanted me to call them just to confirm i am in Thailand! Ah well, i guess that means they are doing their job well!
There was a Thai woman who was being overly friendly trying to get money out of me so i spent quite as lot of my time avoiding her. She did however sell me some Trat oil which basically helps with everything, much like Tiger Balm so that was pretty cool.
The guest house owner was increadibly helpful, he showed me around, told me where i can get really cheap internet, told me how to get to Cambodia and Shinoksville and also showed me the markets! Trat is the town in Thailand with the most markets for its size a very impressive fact if you see how many markets are around so i ate in these during my stay.
I have decided to get the boat to Shinoksville as it will be a more sosciable experiance, the only downside is it means i need to get a shared taxi at 6am!!!!!!
