Cape Tribulation is right up as far as the seald roads go in Queensland. We drove from pretty beach and saw many bays, beaches and rainforests on the way up. They are all very touristy but all lovely. The rainforests up in this part of Australia are supposedly the oldest in the world and they are still growing. Because there are mangroves on the side of the rainforest (as the rainforest growes right out to the sea) the Mangroves trap the silt and effexctively create more land, for more trees to grow off and make the rainforest grow - it is interesting to see how the raigforest spreads and actually pretty much invade the mangroves teretory.

To get up to the cape we had to take a car ferry over the water which was cool and it runs all the time which was lucky!

There were 3 boardwalks we did tosee the rainforests which were extremely cool. Cow bay was so peaceful and relaxing but as im traveling with Fabrice not the best spot for us so we drove on pretty quick! The lookouts are great and the Cape Tribulation itsself was really nice.

Then we drove back down seeing the things we missed on the way up, took the ferry crossing. Saw a big gorge on the way back which had nice swimming holes and made it back to pretty beach just in time to make a chilli and set my tent up and watch the sunset - what a day!!!!
