We spent the morning looking for Lee mainly. He went out for a night out and never returned - he eventually crawled out of someones room who he met in La Paz and then we got some fuel. Stocked up on food and then I drive us onto the ferry which was a nice 3.5 hour trip. Then off the other side following cattle cars with 100's of cows I drove the 140km to Nelson.
Nelson is like Wellington but cuter, it has a really good looking cathedral and there is clearly a good bar and cafe culture here. We went out to sample it but there was literally no one out! It is a tuesday but stil - literally NO ONE! Ed and I set up camp on the side of a river to save on cash, we went to sleep and awoke to find the rivewr only an inch from the tent! We packed up really quick and were SO luck we were not washed away in our sleep, floating down the river on our roll mats!
We set up the Spaceship and shoved the tent in and then we drove onto Abel Tasman. More thumbnails ...
