Bonito is indeed Bonito (beautiful).

It was an effort to get here but could have been much worse. I left the border at 5pm, got to Bela Vista at 8.15pm and got literally the last ticket to Jardim on the 12.30am bus. I hopped on this bus after desperatly trying not to fall asleep in the very sleepy town of Bela Vista, after 2 hours I was in Jardim and 30 mins later I ws on a bus to Bonito.

I Arived in Bonito at 4am, walked 10 blocks on a cleaners instruction and for once the directions were absolutly spot on and I arived at the hostel in Bonito - at 5am! After 2 Hours sleep!!

I slept fr 2 hours more after the securty gad let me in and then had breakfast, registered and I was on a tour by 9am!

At breakfast a Deutch guy came up to me talking and then on the way to Foz de Iguazu I met a Kiwi- he was there too! I went on the tur with Joel (the Kiwi). It was snoorkling in crystal clear water - seeing amazing fish and i lasted for the whold day including a gorgeous lunch. It was very expensive but this is Brazil! It was worth it but only just - theere were only 4 of us on the tour but we saw so many fish, some rediculously bg and the little ones as usual kept biting my skin - it dosnt hurt or bother me but one of them really had a liking for my lower lip - this, was not so pleasent! everytime I stuck my head under the water he would bite me again!! I got away from him and then it was all good! At some points the river flowed very quickly nd somepoints were almost still so there was a huge variey - also there was a little walk in which we sa a whole bunch f insects. Half way through the snoorkling we looked up and there was a fmily of abut 30 monkies - all sporting crazy haircuts, they wre great to watch and ironically this was probably the highlight of the snoorkling!Well, we also saw a small Caiman, Joel and I swam up to it and it remained perfectly still, he was hard to see as the water was not clear where he was, suddernly he arged up in the air - it scrd the shit out of us  both but he was more scared of us and he shot off in the other direction never to be seen again!

After a chat with the hostel owner I am geting on a but 1st thing in the morning to the border in order to connect with a train which takes me through to Santa Cruz in Blivia. Anoyingly I need to book it through an agency, I know I will be paying more bu I dont know how much more - Im having to do it against my will as it could save me a day or 2, and time is becoming a bit of an issue - I will see if it is worth it tomorrow!
