Thursday (15 September) morning we got picked up at 7am from the hotel and we arrived at about 3pm at the ferry to go to Koh Chang. We had booked at the Rock Sand Resort for 2 nights. Lovely place but I wasn't the biggest fan of the shared bathroom... The room was lovely, overlooking the sea with a gorgeous sunset from our own balcony. The first evening we just had dinner at the resort, had a walk along the beach and went to bed.

Next day we went straight to the beach to bake and swim. Baking we did and in the evening we realised we were a little more red then anticipated, ouch to say the least..

Next day we walked up the road to find Paddy's Palm where we were told that they would show the rugby. Watched the game and walked back to pick up our bags as we decided to stay at Paddy's for the next few days. No aircon at Rock and Sand was a big factor and Paddy's had a swimming pool.

Sunday we rented a motorbike and drove around the Island. It was remarkably quiet and it was clearly low season (yeay for us!) Koh Chang is a beautiful Island and it sure made it easier to see it by bike.

Monday we woke up to rain, not just rain like in London but proper get-you-soaking-wet-in-a-second rain! So decided to have a relaxing day and only left the room for dinner!

Tuesday we rented a bike again and drove to an elephant place for a trek through the jungle. Was great fun but 1 hour was to short so next time we'll do a longer one. Later in the afternoon we went for an oil massage in town and when we were about to leave the shop the torrential rain started again and we had to drive through the rain and puddles back to the room. Got soaking wet but was quite funny as well.

Wednesday would be the last day on Koh Chang so we sorted out our transfer to Siem Reap, got passport photo's for the Cambodian visa and bought a charger for my camera. Had dinner and packed our bags ready for Siem Reap!
