I could never have imagined nor descride the sheer beauty and power of the Iguazu falls! We had been very excited to get there and it did not let us down in any way. To really appreciate this wonder you really need to stand there to see the waterfalls, hear the roar and also get absolutely drenched from the water vapour resulting from the sheer power of the falls!

The first day we stayed on the Brazil side and saw the waterfall from that side, which was about a 3 hour trek along the river and finished with a spectacular view as you stood over the `Devils Throat´ and looked straight down the fall!s You must remember that not only are these waterfalls high but they stretch for miles and it is not possible to see them all at once, but every corner you go round is another huge stretch of falls as far as the eye can see. Hence why a photograph cannot grasp the moment amazingly well.

The next day we did it from the Argentina side and decided to do the Full Monty - A jeep ride through the Sub-Tropical Rainforest, a boat down the rapids and at the end the end, a boat even goes under one of the largest waterfalls. Luckily we had decided to be a bit geeky and whack on a Poncho - Proved to be a very wise decision!

One final thing I have to mention is our bus journey we have just completed down to a small town called Colon (on the border between Arg and Uru). I had heard a lot of good things about buses out here and had not been dissapointed; however last night took it to another level. It was a 14 hour bus journey and we decided to splash the cash and upgrade from semi-cama to cama (for an extra 2 pounds) making the total journey about 22quid. The seates almost fully reclined with lots of leg room, to put it in context there were only 12 seats on the bottom floor! We had films on a flat screen througought the journey and we were even Wined and Dined with some delicious argetinian wine and a pasta meal to start and beef as the main course. Never in a million years had we felt such luxury on a bus!!

Anyway so hopefully that kind of keeps you up to date with our travels so far. Obviously this is only a snap shot into our days and there are infinite stories to share! I hope you are all doing well and I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures!! Next stop Montevideo!

Muchos Besos Stu and Owen xx

Wonderful Waterfalls
Those waterfalls look immense! Are they suppose to rival Victoria Falls in Zambia? Photos look wikid - seems you've got a big crowd wherever you go! That bus ride is unbelievable! Such a difference between that and the chicken buses we had to suffer in Central America (mind you, you've got that to come! Haha)

Glad you're having a great time.

Viaje seguro,

The old train with the old guys on is a great picture. The bus journey sounds very posh travelling in style now - until the money runs out! There must be some more pictures of you all in the geeky outfits.. look forward to the next update love mum and dad xxx
