. Oh well off we go to catch the trolley to head to the Seaport Village where we enjoyed walking the harbor and visiting a whole lot of shops and of course stopping and getting our picture taken with Parrots. We decided to head down the harbor to where all the cruise ships and the US Midway ship were docked to find a Seafood restaurant for Lunch. As we wanted to get back to Old Town to finish our day there. Here Doreen and Lanny decided to get a cartoon characher done. We then went to Visit the Morman Museum. We were all really empressed with the personal tour here. They had talking photo's frames, films and a host that told us their story on how they make the trek across the country. We spend the rest of the time there looking thru shops and old town building. We arrived back at our hotel and Doreen and I decided to head to the shopping plaza as if we didn't do enough shopping and looking on the tour. So the Guys dropped us off and away we went to see what the plaza had to offer us. Well they had stores that we never been in before like Macy's, which we spend some time in. Then off we go to find Sak's 5th Avenue. We just peek in as nobody was in this store at the time (late evening) then we saw Blooming Dales!!!! while we entered and looked around and I mean just look as the prices were totally out of our range. Doreen did find a purse she like, it was only $995.00!!!!
Well we decided to take the Old Town Trolley to View the city of San Diego. Since there are 11 stops we bought a two day pass. The great thing about this was the Shuttle pick us up at the hotel and brought us to the start point. The whole tour is approx. 2 hours long. So we decided that there were 5 out of 11 places that we really wanted to get off and tour around On the first day we toured the Balboa Park/ San Diego Zoo area. We took in only a few of the Museums and the walked thru shops and craft stores. Our next stop was Little Italy. we timed this one to be our Lunch stop!!!!! after we found the right restaurant that had what we were looking for and went in and out of various shops, we jump back on the trolley for our last stop of the day in Old Town. We found that we ran out of time for this stop and we decided that we would revisit this one tomorrow. On Day two we started off at Old town just to have breakfast at Ol Hungry Cafe for $4.99. Oh yes When Duane ordered his breakfast he asked for Brown Toast, she laugh and asked if he wanted her to burn his white bread as they call it Wheat Toast down here
