I can't believe this day has finally come!! Time went by so fast, I remember being on the flight home from the last trip already planning this one, 'the big one'! For almost a year I've spent every single day planning, thinking and dreaming of this adventure.
I'm extremely excited but also very nervous! Not about the traveling but about being away from my family for so long. They are such a part of my every day life and it's going to be so hard not to see and talk to them everyday. I'm so lucky to have awesome grandparents too, thank you all so much for everything you've done for me! I love all you guys so much!
My flight leaves from LAX tonight at 8:35pm, is 10 hours long, and will be landing in London,England at 2:50pm. My ticket an Around the World fare through Oneworld Alliance and was booked through American Airlines
All my crap that has to fit into 2 backpacks
. So far my experience with them has not been great,customer service is close to the worst. So the product must sell itself because the people sure couldn't! Anyway- The dates and times are changeable for free, but rerouting cost around $125. I no doubt will be making some changes, but here is my most up to date itinerary-London-3 days (Will be meeting up with Katie,who I met in New Zealand)
Liverpool-3days (Where Katie lives, will be staying with her)
Greece and the Islands- 3 Weeks
Madrid,Spain- 3 days
South Africa- 3 weeks
Perth, Australia- 3 Days ( To Meet Kate(not to be confused with Katie!) and we go off to Asia together.
Thailand & South East Asia- 4 weeks
Australia- 4-5 weeks
New Zealand (South Island)- 3 Weeks
When I arrive in London I Will be meeting up with Katie and we are staying at St.ChristophersVillage in a 12 room dorm. She's got everything planned for us practically down to the minute for days we're together.! Should be a really great time!
I'm not the best writer,a bit lazy, and Internet isn't always speedy and accessible but I'm going to do my best to keep this journal up to date and not bore you all to death.

Yay for the first travelblog entry! We miss you already, prissy and I :) and gracie too. Wondering where you are right now, i think on a flight or something! Guess what I had tonight.... frozen yogurt!!! mmm.... i bet your jealous and jawzy haha. but im more jealous of the experiences youre going to entail :) yea i know your not much of a writer, atleast not like me... but I'm sure your stories will sell themselves and the adventures they behold. love you billions and can't wait to hear more.
