So the gang get suited and booted, dressed in our best to have one last hurrah in Prague. I can say with complete sincerity I don't think I've had a weekend like it for a long time, capping it off with another cracking night out. The girls are on top form, utterly hilarious and having me in stitches for much of the evening. Then of course there is a girl in a knockout red dress that for some reason keeps allowing me to kiss her. I've not had that many really mind blowing kisses, but this has got to be up there. The hours fly by too quickly as I feel like I own the bar. Hell I felt like I owned Prague.
It nearly turns a little sour as the middle aged, crabbit faced drunk lurches forward and tries to pinch her arse on the seat. "Don't do that dude" comes my calm, but firm line, as I look him straight in the eye. He's so hammered he's no idea he's done anything wrong. It's his massive totem pole of a friend that chimes in an apology. It's a damn good job to, because this guy would have crushed me with an ear lobe. I try to remain in control, heart racing, ready for it to turn nasty (and run away). The giant simply offers his deepest regrets at his inebriated mates actions, and leads him away. A grateful sigh of relief is swiftly followed by a stiff vodka. All too soon the night draws to a close.
You may scoff at this, but I never actually sleep with a girl that I like. Especially if I want to impress on the first try and not wake up the hostel or pass out in the process. I like to think there is still something of a gentleman somewhere in here too. However 'sleeping' with someone you like can be pretty damn good, even if we did get a loud "SHHHHHUUSSSHHH" because we were giggling too much. God I love dorm rooms. I fall asleep wishing we had more time.
