Yes, yes, I know... I'm now in Antalya... two stops ago I was in Antakya... same country... different place!
It was a grueling nine hour bus ride to get here. I was wondering how it could take so long, but I found out shortly after the drive began... the highway along the coast was verrry windy and steep... slow going and hard on the old stomach.
Antalya is about half million people, but I'm staying in the old part in Kaleici... typical tiny streets, old buidings, little rail tram that traverses it, great feel... the pansiyon I'm in is a 130-year-old mansion! Did a lot of walking along the sidewalks along the coast today. The snow-capped mountains are in the distance beyond the city.
