Unbelievable day. We decided to double up and not only ride to Lone Pine our original over night stay (240miles) but ride the following days trip on to Yosemite another 220 miles. Considering the part out of Vegas takes us through Death Valley this was going to be a big day. Furnace Creek is where Death Valley drops below sea level and the temp rises - 120 which I can confirm is BLOODY HELL hot!!!! We drop to around 200 feet below sea level and ride through some incredible scenery and eventually stop at Stove pipe creek. Keeping cool is top priority and Steve ops for strapping a bag of ice to his waist. Looked kind of funny but he tells me it worked really well :)

We climbed out of the valley the scenery became even more amazing before arriving at Lone Pine. Incredible day so far and that's before Yosemite !
