First of all apologies for the lack of updates, just about a month and a bit really! To be honest ive been busy....travelling you know and all that so i shall do me best to try and recall (via the medium of my brain ..ha...and my written journal) the adventures and stories that happened during the past month or so. Infact has it been two months? Today is the 19 of october....last entry 26 of august....bollocks!
Oh well, so anyway as most of you now know i arrived in singapore for a weekend of R'n'R, which turned into a weekend of drinking and proceeded to lose my passport. What a great big bloody mongloid! So after a few phonecalls home, lots of deliberating, wall hitting and generally being rather pissed off at my own stupidity i made my way to the British embassy where i got a new passport sorted, money paid bish bash bosh...oh it'll be ready in ten working days time, see you then. Great.....
The first week wasnt so bad actually i made aload of new friends at my hostel, had some good trips out, celebrated a birthday and generally enjoyed my status as the resident lost in transit traveller at the hostel/ By week two however i was pulling finger nails off, chomping at the bit and ready to go man overboard in an attempt to swim...anywhere, malaysia, indonesia, through the indian ocean to Varnasi, any bloody where!
Singapore isnt so bad in itself, theres a great transport system and everything is very 21st century and sparkly and new, but the downside is everything is so expensive and its literally a tiny little city that resembles a country, easily explored in a weekend, utterly bored in fortnight. I believe i did a little jig of joy when i got my smashing new passport, complete with identity chip and all that jazz (big brother is watching) and promptly got the fuck out there to malaysia!
